The strength of a winter cover depends on the number of weaves. Our winter covers have a higher weave count, and the tighter weave fabric blocks out harmful UV rays, preventing algae growth in your pool during the winter! All covers are treated to provide maximum resistance to damaging UV rays to inhibit deterioration and increase longevity. The covers are laminated polyethylene sheeting and woven with thick, high-density polyethylene stitching that ensures superior tensile strength and durability. Every cover comes with additional material (approx. 6' overhang) to ensure your pool is fully covered for the off-season. Please Note: Our standard covers have a 4' overlap; this is added to the sizes of the covers. For example, a 12' round is for a 12' round pool, but the cover will be 16' with overlap.
